MEET JENN

Hi everyone, I'm Jenn!

I am a Certified Professional Life Coach with B.A. Degree in Business Management. I enjoy all things business, sports, and family related. I hope you enjoy the content on our blog, and our motivational products, but most importantly I hope you leave here with the  motivation you need to move forward with whatever goals you are trying to pursue! Here is a little more about me...

The Athlete: I started playing Basketball at a very young age and was able to compete at the Varsity level in high school, and continued on to play at the Collegiate level. Basketball played a big role in teaching me hard work and mental toughness, which is something I am extremely grateful for. Throughout my playing years I faced many challenges and obstacles including tough coaches, multiple knee injuries, failing off the team, and much more. With all honestly, I can say that while those situations were tough to deal with back then, they truly helped shape me into who I am today. After my playing days were done I had the opportunity to assistant coach for an AAU basketball team. I am excited to share my experiences as a player and a coach, and mentor other young athletes who are on their their competitive journey.

The Entrepreneur: I start my first business in 2014 while working a minimum wage job, finishing my business degree, being a mother to my 3 year, and pregnant with another on the way. In 2017 I started LiveDriven. It was nothing but an idea and a dream to somehow help motivate others to reach their goals; and now here we are. I have had my hand in other business ventures as well, some of which have failed. I am not ashamed to admit those failures and losses because that's part of the process. Sometimes things work out, sometimes they don't. You can't learn if you never lose. Almost 10 years later and I still enjoy the thrill and the hustle of Entrepreneurship. It has helped me create the life I have today for myself and my family. Transitioning from a full time job with guaranteed money, to the life of a business owner is tough, but it's worth it. So many people have the dream of working for themselves and owning a business, but never do because they are afraid of the "what ifs". My goal is to help you let go of that fear and doubt and take those first steps towards making your dream a reality.

The Mom: I am the proud Mom of two amazing boys. I believe the universe blessed me with boys because growing up I was a tomboy! I enjoy all the good and the tough situations that has come with parenting. It is a job that has an ever changing list of duties, a 24/7 schedule, and a boss, or my case bosses that just can't live without you! But the pay is the best. Getting all the love and watching your little ones grow up is priceless. Have a kid with ADHD has really taught me patience and how to parent a child according to their needs, not just parent based off "how I was raised."

Since the age of two my parents were divorced. I lived with my mom but was lucky enough to maintain a very good relationship with my dad. He is my go to guy, my inspiration, and my Life Coach. My Mom is my my best friend, and my keep it real meter. Both of my parents were hard workers and instilled the value of hard work in me and the importance of working towards my future. After playing college basketball I entered into a string of mediocre jobs with no clear direction and a child to support. It wasn't until a traumatic event my family, that I discovered my"WHY" and decided I wanted something more, and that I was going to get it no matter what.

"It doesn't matter where you come from or what your goal is, all that matters is that you HAVE a goal. Whether your goal is to simply provide a better life for yourself and your family, create a multi million dollar business, or to make the high school basketball team, they are all equally as important. No matter the path we choose, we will all have obstacles in our way. It's how you deal with those obstacles that decide your path to SUCCESS."
